اشتقاق الظروف من الصفات
اختبر معلوماتكفي معظم الحالات، يتم اشتقاق الظرف عن طريق إضافة -ly إلى الصفة.

إذا انتهت الصفة بـ -y يتم استبدال الـ y بـ i وإضافة -ly.

إذا انتهت الصفة بـ -able أو -ible أو -le يتم استبدال الـ -e بـ -y.

إذا انتهت الصفة بـ -ic يتم إضافة -ally إليها. حالةاستثنائية: public -> publicly

بعض الظروف يكون لها نفس شكل الصفة مثل: (early, fast, hard, high, late, near, straight, wrong).

يكافئ الظرف Well الصفة good في المعنى.
